About the Role
The Control Thermal Management Strategic Marketing Sr. Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping the application strategy and market direction for Danfoss Climate Solutions Controls & Thermal (CTM) portfolio across the North American region. This critical position will require the ability to understand the HVAC-R market, translate customer and competitive insights into actionable value propositions, and influence the product line roadmap. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product teams, and R&D, to drive business growth and expansion.As a key member of the marketing team, the Sr. Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing plans that drive customer engagement, revenue growth, and market share expansion. This will involve analyzing market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and innovation. The role will also require collaboration with internal stakeholders to align marketing strategies with business objectives and ensure effective execution.
The CTM portfolio is a critical component of Danfoss' climate solutions business, and the Sr. Manager will be expected to drive its growth and development through strategic marketing initiatives. This will involve working closely with the sales team to develop targeted marketing campaigns, as well as collaborating with product teams to ensure that marketing strategies are aligned with product development roadmaps.
What You Will Do
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to drive customer engagement, revenue growth, and market share expansion
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product teams, and R&D, to drive business growth and expansion
- Translate customer and competitive insights into actionable value propositions and influence the product line roadmap
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers, industry partners, and stakeholders to drive business growth and expansion
- Work closely with the sales team to develop targeted marketing campaigns and ensure effective execution
- Collaborate with product teams to ensure that marketing strategies are aligned with product development roadmaps
- Provide market feedback and insights to inform product development and business strategy
- Develop and manage marketing budgets to ensure effective use of resources and achieve business objectives
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and innovation
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align marketing strategies with business objectives and ensure effective execution
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Thermal, Refrigeration, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in strategic marketing, product development, product engineering, customer quality, or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to work in a matrix, cross-functional, and multicultural environment
- Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and commercial stakeholders
- Strong understanding of the HVAC-R market and industry trends
- Experience in developing and executing strategic marketing plans
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
