About the Role
Equinix is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join their team in supporting their Australian Data Centers. This fully remote position offers the chance to engage in advanced system maintenance and project execution while collaborating with cross-functional teams.Responsibilities
- Provide expert operating knowledge of control systems and lead diagnostics and repairs
- Collaborate with design engineering, site engineering, and regional operations
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for control systems
- Offer Smartview support for site teams across various projects
Requirements
- Strong technical background with advanced knowledge of control systems
- Proficiency in Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with industry standards and practices
Nice to Have
- Experience with brands such as Honeywell, Schneider, JCI, Siemens, Delta Controls, or similar PLC installers
- Ability to prepare technical documents for internal and external publication
