Job Description

About the Role

The Coordinator Sourcing role at Gildan is a critical component of the company's supply chain management team. As a key member of the Planning and Scheduling department, you will work closely with vendors to confirm production capacity, ensure delivery schedules, and track purchase orders. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with quality and delivery standards, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive business objectives. The successful candidate will report to the Manager, Global Sourcing, and will be an integral part of a dynamic team that values teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement. What You Will Do

  • Communicate with vendors to confirm production capacity and ensure delivery schedules
  • Manage purchase orders, including creation, approval requests, and tracking
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as production, logistics, and finance, to drive business objectives
  • Ensure products and materials meet required quality standards and specifications
  • Analyze data-related documents and communicate effectively to reach desired resolutions
  • Present reports on procurement activities, including product flow, supplier performance, and other relevant metrics
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with overall business objectives

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Studies
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in a supply chain or logistics environment
  • Working knowledge of tracking, inventory control, and planning/scheduling systems (E1, JDE, O9, VI)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to analyze data and communicate effectively
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in the apparel industry

  • Certification in supply chain management or a related field
