About the Role

The Corporate Events Manager, Expo, plays a pivotal role in shaping the attendee experience at Stripe's events, including Stripe Sessions and Stripe Tour. This involves leading the strategy, planning, and execution of physical experiences across the event campus, with a focus on the expo and campus-wide activations. The goal is to create immersive, engaging experiences that not only reflect Stripe's mission and values but also deliver high-quality leads to the sales team. This role reports into the Stripe Sessions and Stripe Tour event lead and is expected to present recommendations for consideration.

As part of the team, the Corporate Events Manager, Expo, will work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, communications, and creative, to ensure that all activations meet Stripe's design standards and quality bar. The role requires a deep understanding of Stripe's products and customer stories, as well as the ability to concept and deliver physical experiences that bring these stories to life.

What You Will Do

  • Drive the experiential strategy across the full event campus, identifying creative opportunities to shape the attendee journey.
  • Oversee all aspects of expo experiential design and campus-wide activations, ensuring cohesive and immersive experiences.
  • Concept and lead physical experiences that bring Stripe products and customer stories to life, such as audience pavilions, product showcases, and themed activations.
  • Propose and develop new spaces for targeted attendee segments, industries, verticals, or customer story activations.
  • Partner with marketing, product, communications, and creative teams to understand business priorities and identify stories or moments that should be reflected in the environment.
  • Align with creative and brand teams to ensure activations meet Stripe's design standards and quality bar.
  • Design and manage the placement of all expo elements to optimize attendee flow, visibility, and engagement.
  • Lead internal demo planning and staffing, ensuring each experience is clearly scoped, strategically placed, and fully prepared to support product storytelling at scale.
  • Manage all expo activations from early planning through onsite execution, ensuring cross-functional alignment and high-quality delivery.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in event management, with a focus on experiential design and execution.
