About the Role
As a Corporate Paralegal at Reddit, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the company's corporate functions, driving legal operations efficiency, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in facilitating the lifecycle of periodic securities filings, including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and Section 16 reporting. You will be part of a dynamic team that values transparency, community, and innovation, and your contributions will directly impact Reddit's continued growth and success.The corporate paralegal role is integral to Reddit's legal department, requiring a unique blend of legal knowledge, operational savvy, and technological adaptability. You will work closely with the legal team to identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient solutions, leveraging your experience with legal operations and technology adoption.
What You Will Do
- Support the preparation and filing of periodic securities filings, including 10-Qs, 10-Ks, and Section 16 reports
- Assist with the administration of Reddit's equity program, including record-keeping and compliance
- Facilitate domestic and international corporate filings for Reddit and its subsidiaries
- Maintain corporate minute books and the corporate records database
- Support the preparation and organization of materials for quarterly board meetings
- Assist with M&A and other corporate transactions, including due diligence and project management
- Support outside counsel management, including administration through Brightflag
- Facilitate the testing and adoption of artificial intelligence tools within the legal department to improve workflow efficiency
- Support the planning and execution of legal team offsites and internal strategy sessions
What We Are Looking For
- At least three years of corporate paralegal experience, with a focus on securities and corporate governance
- Strong understanding of corporate law and regulatory requirements
- Experience with legal operations and technology adoption
- Organized, detail-oriented, process-focused, proactive, and adaptable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with equity administration and record-keeping
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools and legal technology
Nice to Have
- Experience with international corporate filings and expansions
- Knowledge of Brightflag or similar outside counsel management tools
- Certification in corporate paralegal studies or a related field
