About the Role
The Country Manager position at Alcor is a pivotal role that requires a unique blend of operational, managerial, and client-facing skills. As a Country Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for Alcor's international clients, providing them with deep insights into the regional IT ecosystem, business culture, and regulations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include representing Alcor on the local market, setting up operational infrastructure, and driving business growth through client account expansion.Alcor is a growing tech company that offers an innovative solution for tech product companies to build their software R&D centers from scratch. With a strong portfolio of clients, including People ai, Grammarly, BigCommerce, Ledger, Sift, and many others, this role presents an exciting opportunity to work with leading tech companies and contribute to their growth.
As a Country Manager, you will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and recruitment, to deliver exceptional service to clients. Your ability to work independently, think analytically, and communicate effectively will be crucial in driving success in this role.
What You Will Do
- Represent Alcor on the local market, serving as a regional ambassador
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, cultivating strong, long-term partnerships
- Lead operational setup, including presenting the location, sourcing top-tier vendors, office setup, procurement, insurance, and more
- Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and payment processes for the client's local team
- Ensure seamless cross-functional collaboration with legal, finance, and recruitment teams
- Support pre-sale activities, participating in intro calls with prospective clients to represent your region and showcase local expertise
- Drive business growth by expanding client accounts in your region
- Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the local tech market, including market pros and cons, trends, talent pool, and local IT hubs
What We Are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role, such as Customer Success, Support, or Account Manager
- Deep understanding of the local tech market, including market trends, talent pool, and local IT hubs
- Fluent English communication, both verbal and written
- Strong customer focus with a WOW-service mindset
- Analytical mindset, proficient in Excel, and confident using data to drive insights and decisions
- Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks across time zones
- Experience with operational setup and management, including office setup, procurement, and insurance
Nice to Have
- Experience working with tech product companies or software R&D centers
- Knowledge of local regulations and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with recruitment processes and talent acquisition strategies
- Certification in project management or a related field
