Job Description
## About the Role As a Country Manager at Sophos, you will be responsible for leading and growing the business across Brazil, with full ownership of the SMB, Midmarket, and Enterprise segments. This will involve developing and executing a country strategy to accelerate growth, expand market presence, and increase revenue. You will lead a team of approximately 10 field sellers, focused on hunting, pipeline creation, customer engagement, and closing new business in territory. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Brazilian market, as well as the ability to work closely with partners to bring Sophos solutions to market. This is a customer-facing, in-territory sales team responsible for identifying opportunities, building executive relationships, creating demand, and winning business in partnership with the channel. As a senior commercial leader for Sophos in Brazil, you will represent the company with customers, partners, and key stakeholders. You will set the tone for the Brazil business, coach a high-performing team, engage directly with customers and partners, and drive predictable growth across all segments. ## What You Will Do - Develop and execute the country strategy to accelerate growth, expand market presence, and increase revenue - Lead the Brazil business with a strong emphasis on hunting, new logo acquisition, pipeline creation, and in-territory execution - Translate regional priorities into a focused local action plan that drives customer engagement and revenue outcomes - Serve as the senior commercial leader for Sophos in Brazil, representing the company with customers, partners, and key stakeholders - Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 10 sales professionals across Brazil - Build a high-performance culture centered on accountability, urgency, execution, and winning in the field - Drive a strong hunting motion across the country, ensuring the team is actively prospecting, creating pipeline, and engaging target accounts - Personally engage in key customer conversations, executive meetings, negotiations, and late-stage opportunities to help secure wins - Ensure the team is highly visible in market and actively building relationships within assigned territories - Work closely with Sophos’ channel ecosystem to drive revenue growth - Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy - Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies - Develop and manage sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance metrics - Identify and mitigate risks to sales performance and revenue growth ## What We Are Looking For - 5+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably in the cybersecurity or technology industry - Strong understanding of the Brazilian market and sales ecosystem - Proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading high-performing sales teams - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills - Ability to work closely with partners to bring Sophos solutions to market - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience with sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance metrics - Strong knowledge of Adjust and Excel - Fluency in Portuguese and English - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field - Experience with channel sales and partner management ## Nice to Have - Experience with sales enablement and training programs - Knowledge of the cybersecurity industry and trends - Familiarity with Sophos products and solutions - Experience with data-driven sales strategies and analytics tools - Certification in sales leadership or a related field ## Benefits and Perks - Competitive salary and bonus structure - Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k) or retirement plan with company match - Paid time off and holidays - Remote work options and flexible scheduling - Professional development and training opportunities - Access to the latest technology and tools - Collaborative and dynamic work environment - Recognition and reward programs for outstanding performance
