What You Will Do

• Deliver and pick up packages to and from residential and commercial properties
• Utilize safe transportation methods to get to and from destinations
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
• Leverage technology to effectively aid in delivery services, including using mobile devices to scan packages and update delivery status
• Work independently, managing your time and route to ensure efficient delivery of packages
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, adhering to UPS standards and regulations
• Stay up-to-date with traffic and road conditions, planning your route accordingly to avoid delays
• Collaborate with other Couriers and team members to achieve common goals and objectives
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve knowledge and skills
• Adhere to UPS policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards

What We Are Looking For

• 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in transportation or logistics
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
• Basic knowledge of transportation management and logistics, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
• Ability to work independently, managing your time and route to ensure efficient delivery of packages
• High school diploma or equivalent required, with a degree in a related field preferred
• Ability to lift and maneuver packages, up to 70 pounds
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and adhere to UPS policies and procedures
• Experience with mobile devices and technology, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and software

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively
• Knowledge of local traffic patterns and road conditions, with the ability to navigate through congested areas
• Certification in transportation or logistics, such as a CDL or forklift operator certification
• Bilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with customers in multiple languages
• Experience working with UPS or other logistics companies, with knowledge of their systems and procedures
