About the Role

The Creative Director at PadSplit will be the driving force behind the company's creative strategy, overseeing a team of designers, contractors, and agency partners to develop high-performing creative campaigns across multiple channels. This role is crucial in elevating the PadSplit brand, creating a consistent and trusted experience for all customers. The ideal candidate will be a creative leader who is as comfortable developing people as they are in developing brand strategies, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for innovation.

The role entails working closely with the marketing team to create campaigns that not only look exceptional but also drive measurable business results. This includes national marketing campaigns, social content, and the overall brand experience for members, hosts, and partners. The Creative Director will also be responsible for building a scalable creative operation that can keep up with the company's rapid growth, leveraging AI tools and modern creative workflows to improve speed, quality, and efficiency.

What You Will Do

  • Set and evolve PadSplit's creative direction across every customer touchpoint, ensuring a consistent brand experience.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop designers, contractors, and agency partners, with a focus on building a high-performing team.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to create high-performing creative across paid, organic, lifecycle, email, social, and emerging channels.
  • Establish scalable creative workflows, production systems, quality standards, and resource management that enable speed without sacrificing quality.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Growth, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure creative is embedded early in major initiatives.
  • Own PadSplit's visual identity, creative standards, messaging consistency, and overall brand reputation across every channel.
  • Translate research, customer feedback, and performance data into stronger creative strategies and messaging.
  • Use creative performance metrics, experimentation, and AI-powered workflows to continuously improve campaign effectiveness and creative output.

What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience leading brand, marketing, or creative organizations, with at least 3 years managing creative teams.
  • A player-coach style of leadership, with the ability to both lead others and personally contribute to creative strategy and execution.
  • Experience creating creative that drives acquisition, conversion, and customer engagement, with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Operational excellence, with the ability to build scalable creative operations using systems, vendors, contractors, and repeatable processes.
  • Fluency in AI tools and modern creative workflows, with the ability to incorporate these into daily work.
  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to connect creative decisions to business objectives, customer insights, and measurable outcomes.
  • Cross-functional influence, with a proven ability to build strong partnerships across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Legal, and Executive Leadership.

  • Experience working in the housing or real estate industry, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this space.
  • Certification in creative leadership or a related field, with a focus on continuous learning and professional development.
