About the Role

Fusion Growth Partners, a business incubator and micro-venture capital company, is seeking an experienced Creative Director to lead its video department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the production of high-quality video content, managing a team of designers and videographers, and collaborating with other departments to drive business growth.

As a key player in the company's marketing efforts, the Creative Director will play a crucial role in developing and implementing video strategies that align with the company's overall goals. This will involve staying up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in video production, as well as ensuring that all video content meets the company's high standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in video production, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement video strategies that align with the company's overall goals
  • Oversee the production of high-quality video content, including concept development, scripting, storyboarding, and editing
  • Manage a team of designers and videographers, providing guidance and feedback to ensure that all video content meets the company's high standards
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing and sales, to drive business growth
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in video production, including social media platforms and video sharing sites
  • Analyze video performance metrics, including engagement and conversion rates, to inform future video strategies
  • Develop and manage budgets for video production, including equipment, talent, and travel
  • Ensure that all video content meets the company's brand guidelines and is consistent with the company's overall messaging
  • Collaborate with external partners, including videographers, editors, and motion graphics designers, to produce high-quality video content

What We Are Looking For

  • At least 5 years of experience in video production, including experience in a leadership role
  • Strong portfolio that showcases expertise in video production, including concept development, scripting, storyboarding, and editing
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team and collaborate with other departments
  • Strong understanding of video production technologies, including cameras, lighting, and editing software
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze video performance metrics and inform future video strategies
  • Experience with social media platforms and video sharing sites, including YouTube, Vimeo, and Facebook

Nice to Have

  • Experience with motion graphics and animation
  • Experience with virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR)
  • Experience with live streaming and video conferencing
  • Certification in video production, including Certified Video Producer (CVP) or Certified Media Producer (CMP)
