About the Role

The Curriculum Developer role at Correlation One is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the aerospace manufacturing industry. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for developing curriculum for the company's new Aerospace Technician program, which aims to prepare working adults for skilled technician roles in commercial aerospace manufacturing. This program is designed to build foundational aerospace manufacturing skills, including engineering drawing interpretation, precision measurement, materials handling, introductory soldering, and aerospace safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in aerospace or advanced manufacturing, as well as experience in curriculum development and adult education. You will work closely with Correlation One's Learning Experience Design team and employer subject-matter experts to ensure that the curriculum aligns with validated skill requirements. Your expertise will be crucial in designing and writing lessons, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises that meet the needs of adult learners with varied backgrounds.

Correlation One's Aerospace Technician program is designed to be delivered virtually, with shipped practice kits supplementing the online learning experience. As a Curriculum Developer, you will play a key role in ensuring that the program is comprehensive, engaging, and effective in preparing students for careers in aerospace manufacturing.

What You Will Do

  • Develop curriculum for the Aerospace Technician program, including lessons, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises
  • Collaborate with the Learning Experience Design team and employer subject-matter experts to ensure curriculum alignment with industry standards
  • Design and write lessons that cover foundational skills for aerospace technicians, including engineering drawing interpretation and precision measurement
  • Develop hands-on exercises and virtual labs that simulate real-world scenarios
  • Iterate on curriculum based on feedback from employer SMEs and industry experts
  • Ensure that curriculum stays aligned with current aerospace industry standards, tooling, and certification pathways
  • Collaborate with other curriculum developers to review and refine lessons
  • Develop assessments and evaluations to measure student learning outcomes
  • Participate in instructor training and support to ensure effective program delivery

What We Are Looking For
