Curriculum Developer & Instructor - AMER

About the Role

The role involves working on multiple projects simultaneously, including the development of on-demand training content for ClickHouse Academy, live online training sessions via Zoom, in-person training for customers, and participation in community events and conferences. You will also be responsible for teaching ClickHouse courses, both virtually and in-person, and contributing to the development of quizzes and certification exams for ClickHouse credentials and certifications.

What You Will Do

• Develop ClickHouse training courses for on-demand and instructor-led delivery, including slides, videos, and hands-on labs
• Design new training courses for various personas and users of ClickHouse
• Work with other Curriculum Developers to produce high-quality on-demand training content for ClickHouse Academy
• Teach ClickHouse courses both virtually and in-person for public and private deliveries
• Contribute to writing and deploying quizzes and certification exams for ClickHouse credentials and certifications
• Establish a community presence through social media and deliver training and talks at conferences
• Travel to meetups, conferences, and customer sites to deliver training and promote ClickHouse
• Collaborate with the Engineering and Product teams to stay updated on the latest ClickHouse features and technologies
• Continuously evaluate and improve training content to ensure it remains relevant and effective

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience in developing curriculum for a highly technical audience, such as software engineers and database developers
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly and effectively
• Experience with SQL and excellent communication skills
• Technical breadth and depth in relevant subjects, including DBMS, OLAP, cloud/SaaS platforms, distributed systems, software engineering, and big data
• Self-motivated attitude with the desire and determination to complete projects in a fast-paced startup environment
• Ability to travel regionally throughout North America
• Located in the United States
• Experience with teaching audiences of all different sizes and backgrounds

Nice to Have

• 5+ years of experience with curriculum development for databases and/or distributed systems
• Strong knowledge of building machine learning applications and/or GenAI
• Strong knowledge of database internals and deploying them at scale
• Experience with ClickHouse database
• Experience with one or more Cloud Service Providers, such as AWS, GCP, Azure
