About the Role
As a Custodian with KBR, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and organization of our facilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing a wide range of cleaning tasks, managing supplies, and addressing maintenance needs. This role is contingent upon contract award and will be based in Alice Springs.Your work will be integral to the smooth operation of our facilities, providing a clean and safe environment for our team members. You will work independently and as part of a larger team, collaborating with facility management and other stakeholders to ensure all areas are well-maintained.

What You Will Do
- Maintain adequate materials, supplies, and equipment to work locations, replenishing inventory as needed
- Perform a wide range of clean-up and housekeeping activities as required
- Observe, follow, and enforce all safety rules and procedures, including wearing required personal safety equipment
- Perform other duties and activities as directed by facility management or others
- Utilize Excel to manage inventory, track maintenance schedules, and report on facility conditions
- Collaborate with the facilities team to identify and address maintenance needs
- Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills
What We Are Looking For
- Must be a US or Australian citizen
- Possess an active US Top Secret/SCI or AUS PV Clearance
- High School graduation or equivalent
- 5 years of janitorial or housekeeping experience
- Proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Ability to pass a background check
