About the Role
As a Custodio de Boveda, you will be responsible for maintaining the inventory of cash and other valuables in the vault. This role is critical to the success of Loomis US, as it ensures that customer transactions are accurate and secure. You will be working as part of a team to verify the contents of deposit bags and shipments, count and record items, and sign and date receipts and manifests.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include working in a fast-paced environment, where attention to detail and organizational skills are essential. You will be required to lift and move heavy bags and containers, as well as stand for long periods of time. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is crucial, as you will be interacting with colleagues and customers on a regular basis.

What You Will Do
- Verify the contents of deposit bags and shipments against receipts and manifests
- Count and record items, including cash, coins, and other valuables
- Sign and date receipts and manifests
- Load and unload containers and bags from carts and wagons
- Order items for loading onto carts and wagons
- Communicate verbally with colleagues and customers
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
What We Are Looking For
- Ability to lift and move heavy bags and containers (up to 50 pounds)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 80% of the shift)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid firearms permit (Puerto Rico)
- Ability to count, add, subtract, and balance columns of numbers
