About the Role
The Customer Activation Manager position at Ramp is a critical component of the company's success, responsible for delivering value to customers and driving revenue growth. As a member of this fast-growing team, you will have the opportunity to build and refine Ramp's Customer Activation organization and define the customer strategy that fuels the company's growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Account Executives and Technical Consulting, to ensure seamless onboarding and implementation of Ramp's products for new customers.The role entails project managing the implementation and onboarding process, acting as a strategic consultant to customers, and driving initial product utilization and revenue growth. You will become an expert in Ramp's suite of products and assist customers with change management, providing custom training and support as needed. Your input will be invaluable in shaping the company's product roadmap, and you will work closely with the product team to ensure customer feedback is prioritized and incorporated into the development process.
What You Will Do
- Project manage thorough and complete implementation and onboarding of new Ramp Enterprise customers
- Execute successful launches of the Ramp platform across Enterprise accounts in partnership with Account Executives and Technical Consulting teams
- Act as a strategic consultant and extension of customers' teams, guiding them through Ramp setup and best practices
- Work with customers to deeply understand their current workflow, pain points, and priorities, and showcase tailored solutions to address these challenges
- Drive initial product utilization and revenue for Ramp by ensuring there are no unnecessary delays in the implementation process
- Become an expert in the full range of integration and configuration options for Ramp's suite of products
- Assist customers with change management and provide custom training for their organizations
- Partner closely with the product team to ensure customer feedback is reviewed and prioritized
- Help facilitate product workshops as necessary
- Balance priorities and multiple tasks supporting implementation, follow-up, and proactive outreach
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 7 years of experience in customer success, activation, implementations, or sales experience in a B2B organization
- Large scale strategy change management experience, preferably in Finance or Fintech
- AI fluency, with the ability to constantly test new tools and raise the bar for efficiency in a modern sales motion
- Experience managing enterprise customer relationships with numerous stakeholders
- Exceptional project management and time management skills, with the ability to run complex implementation projects with multiple workstreams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to conduct deep discovery to understand customer needs and manage expectations
- Proven track record of exceeding quota and/or outperforming key target metrics
- Ability to anticipate customers' needs and position product solutions accordingly
- High adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- Experience with Accounting Software (e.g., Netsuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and/or Accounting (CPA)
- Experience implementing a nascent product to Enterprise customers
- Experience with financial services sales
