About the Role

The Customer Activation | Partnerships role at Ramp is a critical position that involves managing and growing the company's partner-referred customers. As an early member of the team, the successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the Partner Success program and defining the implementation motion to drive activation and retention. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with key partners, including accounting firms, private equity, and venture capital companies, to drive business growth and revenue expansion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer success, partnerships, or account management, with a proven track record of exceeding targets and driving business growth. They will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, understand their business models and challenges, and develop and deliver partner onboarding and education programs to drive efficient and thorough onboarding at scale.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners, including accounting firms, private equity, and venture capital companies
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for partners, understanding their business models, goals, and challenges
  • Develop and deliver partner onboarding and education programs to drive efficient and thorough onboarding at scale
  • Work closely with partners and their customers to drive activation and retention
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product and engineering, to share feedback, troubleshoot, and ideate workarounds
  • Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop strategies to drive business growth
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and excellence
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Ramp's products and services, and communicate this effectively to partners and customers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and develop strategies to drive growth and expansion

What We Are Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer success, partnerships, or account management
  • Proven track record of exceeding targets and driving business growth
  • Strong background in financial services, accounting, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with partners and customers
  • Strong project management and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience working with technical counterparts, including product and engineering teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility
  • Strong desire to learn and grow, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and self-improvement

  • Experience working with accounting software, including QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage, and Microsoft Dynamics
