About the Role
The Customer Engineer position at Concentrix is a critical role that involves working directly with clients as a technical advisor and consultant. This entails designing, deploying, reviewing, and assessing the health of infrastructures and clients, as well as upgrading, updating, and maintaining them. The role is crucial for ensuring that clients' systems are running smoothly and efficiently, and it requires a deep understanding of MECM (also known as SCCM) and Intune.Day-to-day, the Customer Engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting issues with infrastructure and clients, tuning and optimizing systems for performance, and assisting with reporting. This role also involves providing training to clients in all areas of SCCM to ensure their goals are met. The ideal candidate will have experience working as a depth expert and technology owner or consultant for SCCM, with the ability to present to multiple levels of customer leadership.
The team context for this role involves working closely with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless integration and support of their systems. What You Will Do
- Design, deploy, review, and assess the health of the infrastructure and clients
- Upgrade, update, and maintain the SCCM hierarchy
- Troubleshoot issues with infrastructure and clients
- Tune and optimize for performance
- Assist with reporting
- Assist in setting up SCCM Co-Management with Intune
- Assist in planning, reviewing, and troubleshooting Software Updates feature
- Assist in planning, reviewing, and troubleshooting Task Sequences
- Provide training in all areas of SCCM to ensure customer goals are met
- Work directly with customers as a consultant and technical advisor
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate and support client systems
What We Are Looking For
- 3 years of experience working as a depth expert and technology owner or consultant for SCCM
- Ability to present to multiple levels of customer leadership
- Ability to act as a consultant and architect for multiple customers
- Broad knowledge across multiple scenarios including Windows Desktop/Server Management using SCCM
- Experience with SQL Server, Active Directory, Certificates, IIS, DNS, Security
- Knowledge of Package/Application creation and Desktop OS Upgrades
- Experience with Intune and Co-Management
- SSRS Reporting and/or PowerBI experience
- PowerShell scripting skills
- Deep level knowledge in at least 3 of the above categories
Nice to Have
- Experience with network troubleshooting
- Knowledge of related tools such as SQL Profiler, PowerShell, and Process Monitor
- Certification in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager
- Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment
