About the Role

The Customer Marketing Manager role at Figma is a unique opportunity to lead the company's storytelling efforts through its customers and partners. As a key member of the Story Studio team, you will develop and execute a content strategy that showcases Figma's impact on its users. This role sits at the intersection of content strategy and program operations, requiring a deep understanding of Figma's products and their applications.

Figma's platform is designed to make design accessible to all, and as a Customer Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in bringing this mission to life. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Editorial, Growth, and Sales, to ensure that customer stories are integrated into Figma's biggest launches and business moments.

What You Will Do

  • Own the content strategy for customer and partner stories, developing briefs and ensuring high-quality output
  • Source and shape stories that advance Figma's strategic priorities, including AI, enterprise, platform, and public-company narratives
  • Design and direct AI-assisted workflows for sourcing, drafting, and distribution, scaling output while maintaining quality
  • Serve as an internal platform for customer storytelling, proactively supporting Product, Editorial, Growth, and Sales with the narratives they need
  • Develop repeatable intake, prioritization, and production systems, managing vendor relationships and associated budgets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate customer stories into Figma's launches and business moments
  • Analyze the effectiveness of customer storytelling efforts, providing data-driven insights to optimize the strategy
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing and storytelling

What We Are Looking For

  • 8+ years of experience in content marketing, storytelling, or content program management in SaaS or tech
  • Sharp editorial sensibility, with the ability to recognize a strong story and shape others' work with precision and care
  • Hands-on experience with Figma and familiarity with design and development workflows, including AI
  • Experience running content programs end-to-end, including intake, prioritization, production, and distribution at scale
  • A bias for action and ownership, with the ability to spot what needs to happen and move without being asked
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and provide insights to optimize the content strategy

  • Experience with content management systems and project management tools
