About the Role
The Customer Portfolio Manager role at GE Vernova is a critical position that requires a unique blend of technical, business, and interpersonal skills. As a key member of the Gas Power team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a dynamic customer base with multiple locations, demonstrating accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of customers, from large industrial companies to smaller, more agile businesses, and to develop and implement strategies that meet their evolving needs.The Customer Portfolio Manager will be the single point of contact for customers, providing timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns and support services. This will involve working closely with internal functions, including customer service, parts and transactional services, field service, repair service, and other teams. The role requires a high level of operational judgment, moderate autonomy, and the ability to influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility.

What You Will Do
- Act as the single point of contact for customers, providing timely and satisfactory resolution of concerns and support services
- Establish and maintain contact with assigned customers to provide on-going technical and business support
- Develop and implement strategies to meet customer needs and achieve business objectives
- Manage customer relationships, including contract management, service agreement obligations, and program management
- Collaborate with internal functions, including customer service, parts and transactional services, field service, repair service, and other teams
- Provide knowledge and expertise to customers on assigned region, product, or coverage area
- Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Analyze customer data and market trends to identify opportunities and risks
- Develop and implement plans to improve customer satisfaction and retention
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University (OR an Associate's degree from a college or 7 years of experience in a power generation industry)
- Minimum of 5 years of technical field experience with heavy duty gas turbine and/or steam power experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs and projects
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
- Strong operational judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other relevant tools
