About the Role
As a Customer Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for customers, handling inbound queries via phone, email, or live chat. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service, resolving issues efficiently and leaving a positive impression on every interaction. You will be working remotely from South Africa, but you will be part of a UK-based team, so you must be able to work collaboratively with colleagues across different time zones.The role requires a high level of patience, empathy, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for staying up-to-date with the company's products and services, as well as industry trends, to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.
You will be working with a dynamic team of customer service professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences. The team is supported by a robust infrastructure, including CRM tools and ticketing systems, to ensure that all customer interactions are tracked and resolved efficiently.
What You Will Do
- Handle inbound customer queries via phone, email, or live chat
- Resolve complaints and escalate issues when necessary, following set procedures
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions in the CRM system
- Identify customer needs and provide clear, helpful information
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex queries
- Meet daily service targets and maintain quality standards
- Stay up-to-date with the company's products and services, as well as industry trends
- Participate in ongoing training and support to improve customer service skills
- Provide feedback to the team on customer experience and suggest areas for improvement
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with customers
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure compliance
What We Are Looking For
- Experience in a customer service, call centre, or support role
- Clear and professional communication in English (written and spoken)
- Familiarity with CRM tools or ticketing systems is a plus
