About the Role
The Customer Service Representative I position at SanMar-Internal is a pivotal role that requires providing world-class service to both internal and external customers. This involves working closely with various teams to ensure seamless operations and utilizing in-depth knowledge of company products, processes, and technology to address customer inquiries effectively. The role is integral to maintaining positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders alike.Day-to-day, the successful candidate will be handling inbound calls, maintaining a high level of professionalism, and working to establish a positive rapport with every customer. The ability to learn and navigate computer system applications, such as Salesforce, to accurately process transactions and maintain customer data is essential.
What You Will Do
- Handle inbound customer calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Utilize Salesforce and other computer applications to process customer transactions and maintain data accuracy
- Educate customers on products and services via phone, email, and chat communications
- Provide basic troubleshooting for customers, including product knowledge, recommendations, and problem resolution
- Build and maintain positive relationships with internal customers and team members
- Stay informed on all communications and training to ensure accurate protocols are followed
- Participate in other related duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor or manager
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Comply with all policies and standards
- Continuously update knowledge of relevant company products, processes, programs, and technology
- Collaborate with the team to achieve customer service goals
What We Are Looking For
- Less than 1 year of customer service experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented
- Results-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and urgency
- Ability to meet accuracy and productivity expectations
- Displays strong organizational and time-management skills
- Demonstrates the ability to consistently work well in a team environment
- Must have basic math and computer skills
- Experience with Salesforce and/or similar CRM systems is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
