What You Will Do

  • Deliver high-quality technical onboarding to customers, ensuring they can effectively utilize Algolia's search and discovery platform.
  • Design and implement solutions that meet the specific needs of each customer, focusing on scalability and performance.
  • Provide best-practice guidance and support to customers, helping them to optimize their use of the platform.
  • Collaborate with customer success managers to ensure the long-term health and satisfaction of customers.
  • Work closely with product teams and engineering to develop subject matter expertise and serve as a product expert to customers.
  • Develop, maintain, and present comprehensive case status reports to customers on a regular basis.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical risks and bottlenecks, ensuring smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with customers to deliver ad-hoc services tailored around their needs, including technical workshops and solution design.
  • Scope and present technical workshops to drive Algolia's adoption and customer success.
  • Act as a technical owner for assigned accounts, ensuring smooth delivery and customer satisfaction through clear communication, rigorous documentation, and thoughtful stakeholder alignment.

What We Are Looking For

  • Functional knowledge of JavaScript and experience with REST API, database management, and web development technologies.
  • Strong desire to help people solve problems, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a broad audience.
  • Proficiency in communicating complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences via phone and email channels.
  • Excellence in time management, task prioritization, and evaluation of situational urgency.
  • Experience delivering technical workshops of various nature, including training, knowledge transfer, implementation, and code review.
  • Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Passion for learning and applying new technologies, including modern development patterns, cloud infrastructure, and emerging AI capabilities.

Nice to Have

  • Functional knowledge of one of the following programming languages: Java, PHP, C#, Objective-C, Swift, Ruby, Python.
  • Familiarity with iOS & Android platforms.
  • Experience supporting open-source projects and their GitHub communities.
  • Experience with Shopify, Magento, and Salesforce.
