About the Role

The Customer Success Engineer at Posthog plays a critical role in ensuring the long-term success of our largest customers. As a technical expert, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs, identify areas for growth, and develop strategies to help them achieve their goals. Our customer success team is the face of Posthog, and we are looking for someone who is not only technical but also passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

What You Will Do

  • Engage with large customers on a regular basis to ensure their continued retention and growth
  • Develop and implement strategies to help customers achieve their goals and maximize the value of our platform
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to resolve customer issues
  • Work closely with our product teams to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions that meet the needs of our customers
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends and areas for growth
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation to support customer success
  • Collaborate with our sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to drive customer success
  • Participate in product feedback sessions to help shape the future of our platform
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders within our customer organizations

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to understand and troubleshoot complex technical issues
  • Experience working with large customers, preferably in a customer-facing role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with product analytics, data warehouses, and AI-powered tools
  • Strong understanding of customer success principles and practices
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and circumstances
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and draw insights

  • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
