About the Role

The Customer Success Manager for Ads Solutions at OpenAI plays a pivotal role in driving the adoption and growth of OpenAI's advertising platform. This involves managing a portfolio of key advertiser partners, guiding them through the onboarding process, and ensuring the successful launch of their campaigns. The role is critical in fostering strong, long-term relationships with partners and in identifying opportunities to expand these partnerships through increased product adoption and investment. The Customer Success Manager will work closely with the Sales team to drive partner growth and with internal teams to continuously enhance the advertiser experience.

What You Will Do

  • Own and manage relationships with a portfolio of advertising partners, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Guide advertisers through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition to the OpenAI advertising platform.
  • Analyze campaign performance data to provide clear, actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand partnerships, driving increased product adoption and investment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Analytics, Policy, and Operations teams to resolve issues, enhance platform value, and inform product improvements.
  • Surface advertiser feedback and insights to the relevant teams, contributing to the development of long-term strategy and product roadmap.
  • Develop and implement scalable processes and best practices that support the growth of OpenAI's advertising ecosystem.
  • Work closely with the Sales team to drive long-term partner growth and with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to improve the advertiser experience and drive innovation.

What We Are Looking For

  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience in digital advertising, account management, customer success, consulting, or a related client-facing role.
  • Proven experience managing advertiser or agency relationships in a platform, publisher, or adtech environment.
  • Comfort and proficiency in interpreting performance data and translating insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Experience with data querying tools (e.g., SQL, advanced Excel/Google Sheets).
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trust with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A self-motivated and results-driven approach, with the ability to operate with ownership and accountability in fast-moving environments.
  • Sound judgment and a commitment to user trust and responsible platform growth.
  • Experience working in a hybrid or fully remote environment, with the ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving work setting.
