Job Description

About the Role

The Customer Success Manager position at Commonroom is a strategic role that entails managing a portfolio of enterprise accounts and driving product adoption. As a Customer Success Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining deep expertise in Commonroom's data model, signal types, integrations, and platform configuration. You will serve as the primary strategic partner for your assigned accounts, working closely with the Account Management team to drive retention and expansion.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GTM and Salesforce, with experience in driving customer success and building strong relationships with executive-level clients. You will be expected to develop and maintain a deep understanding of Commonroom's products and services, as well as the latest trends and technologies in the industry.

What You Will Do

  • Own a portfolio of 15-20 enterprise accounts, serving as the primary strategic partner throughout the post-sale lifecycle
  • Develop and maintain deep expertise in Commonroom's data model, signal types, integrations, and platform configuration
  • Build and cultivate multi-threaded relationships across champion, economic buyer, and executive sponsor levels
  • Develop fluency in Commonroom's MCP and CLI capabilities and their role in AI-embedded GTM workflows
  • Consult on use-case design and GTM workflow architecture
  • Recognize where each customer sits on the adoption maturity spectrum and actively drive progression
  • Translate technical questions and integration challenges into clear guidance
  • Partner with CS Engineering on escalations and handle Tier 1-2 technical questions independently
  • Understand your customers' tech stacks well enough to advise on how Common Room connects to and amplifies their existing systems
  • Develop and maintain a documented 'why Common Room' success plan for every account
  • Maintain a high level of product mastery to provide exceptional customer support

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in Customer Success or a related field
  • Strong background in GTM and Salesforce
  • Experience in driving customer success and building strong relationships with executive-level clients
  • Deep understanding of Commonroom's products and services
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to learn and adapt quickly
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
  • Experience with data analysis and metrics-driven decision making
