About the Role

The Customer Success Manager Public Sector role at Box is a critical position that requires a deep understanding of the public sector's unique challenges and opportunities. As a trusted advisor and strategic partner, you will work closely with federal, state, and local agencies to adopt and expand their use of Box's Intelligent Content Management platform. Your primary focus will be on driving measurable business outcomes and long-term value realization for your clients, ensuring they achieve their goals and transform their workflows.

What You Will Do

  • Own the post-sales relationship for a portfolio of enterprise customers, with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes and long-term value realization
  • Partner with customers to map and redesign critical workflows, identifying opportunities for automation and improvement
  • Translate customer goals into a clear value hypothesis, success metrics, and practical AI solutions
  • Lead change management efforts to drive adoption of new workflows and behaviors, including stakeholder alignment, enablement, and executive engagement
  • Conduct strategic adoption business reviews that focus on outcomes, ROI, and future opportunities
  • Proactively identify risks and opportunities within accounts, using both qualitative insight and data to guide action
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Professional Services to serve as the voice of the customer
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the public sector's unique challenges and opportunities, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments
  • Create and deliver customized success plans for each client, ensuring alignment with their goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement new features and functionality that meet the evolving needs of the public sector

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the public sector or a related field
  • Strong understanding of AI, workflow automation, and compliance in the public sector
  • Proven track record of driving business outcomes and delivering measurable results for clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Engineering
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop actionable insights
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing competing demands
  • Strong knowledge of the public sector's unique challenges and opportunities, including regulatory requirements and industry trends
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies and SaaS platforms, preferably Box or a similar platform

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with AI-powered workflows and automation tools
  • Knowledge of IT service management frameworks, such as ITIL
  • Certification in a related field, such as project management or data analytics
  • Experience working with federal, state, or local government agencies
