About the Role

The Customer Support Representative role at DXC Technology is a vital part of the company's mission to deliver exceptional customer experiences. As a key member of the Annuities team, you will be responsible for handling customer service inquiries via telephone and/or email, resolving problems, and maintaining quality service by following policies and procedures. The team is dedicated to providing top-notch support to customers, and your attention to detail, strong intellectual curiosity, and honest desire to make a difference will be essential in ensuring each customer experience is exceptional.

The role is part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where adaptability and strong communication skills are crucial. You will be working closely with the Financial Service Representatives, educating them on market requirements, processes, contract provisions, and annuity products. Your ability to efficiently process transactions, track responses, and navigate multiple electronic systems will be vital in providing a complete and integrated response to customer inquiries.

What You Will Do

  • Respond to customers, agents, and broker/dealer's requests via telephone or email, providing high-quality service to BHF Annuity customers
  • Research and respond to questions regarding status updates, policy provisions of fixed and variable annuities, errors, application & contract discrepancies, and processing delays
  • Educate Financial Service Representatives on market requirements, processes, contract provisions, and annuity products
  • Efficiently process transactions and track responses to ensure completion
  • Enhance and strengthen the relationship between the customer and BHF using strong communication skills, keen listening skills, and empathy
  • Access and navigate multiple electronic systems to provide a complete and integrated response to the customer's inquiry
  • Perform responsibilities in a consistent, professional manner while exercising strong verbal, interpersonal, and high-quality service skills
  • Maintain quality service by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

What We Are Looking For

  • High School diploma
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • Outstanding customer service skills and dedication to providing exceptional customer care
  • Exceptional listening and analytical skills
  • Solid time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and successfully operate in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Must adapt well to change and successfully set and adjust priorities as needed
  • Ability to obtain FINRA (formerly NASD) Series 6 license within 90 days of hire

Nice to Have

  • Some college experience or a trade or professional certification
  • Insurance or Financial Services industry experience or product-specific experience
  • Prior Call Center experience is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and continuously develop functional knowledge
