Job Description
About the Role
Flexport is seeking a Customs Associate to join their customs operations team. This role will ensure the smooth movement of goods into Canada by executing the clearance of shipments.Responsibilities
- Create and submit customs entries for high-profile clients
- Digitally prepare and submit all documentation required for goods to clear with CBSA
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all regulations and procedures of the CBSA and Participating Government Agencies (PGA’s)
- Review and organize incoming documents to ensure compliance with CBSA and PGA reporting requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service support to clients
Requirements
- Proficiency in Excel
- Knowledge of global customs laws and regulations
