CX Technical Content Design Intern (Summer 2026)

About the Role

The KXP organization is at the forefront of Dropbox's efforts to empower customers through self-service enablement. By developing high-quality technical content, you will help reduce support inquiries, improve customer satisfaction, and drive business growth. This is a highly collaborative role that sits at the intersection of product, support enablement, and customer enablement, offering a unique opportunity to work with cross-functional teams and develop content that tells the technical story of Dropbox while empowering users of all levels.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation that meets the needs of self-serve teams and customers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and support, to identify content gaps and develop targeted solutions
• Conduct research to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in technical content development
• Work with the Technical Content Strategist to execute and deliver scalable content that enables customer success
• Participate in content reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality output
• Develop and maintain documentation templates, style guides, and other content assets
• Analyze customer feedback and support data to identify areas for content improvement
• Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with business objectives and customer needs
• Work with stakeholders to prioritize content projects and ensure timely delivery
• Stay current with industry developments and apply that knowledge to improve content quality and relevance

What We Are Looking For

• Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner
• Experience with technical content development, including documentation, guides, and tutorials
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze customer feedback and support data
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and quality, with a focus on delivering high-quality content
• Experience with content management systems, such as MadCap Flare or Paligo
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud-based storage solutions, such as Dropbox or Google Drive
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with the ability to create interactive content
• Experience with content analytics tools, such as Google Analytics or Mixpanel
• Familiarity with accessibility guidelines, such as Section 508 or WCAG 2.1
