About the Role
As a Cybersecurity Analyst at Home Depot, you will play a critical role in protecting the company's sensitive data and assets from emerging threats. This position is part of the cybersecurity team, which is responsible for architecture, governance, identity and access management, internal threat operations, issue and compliance management, risk assessment, security consulting, security operations, service optimization, and strategic planning. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the security and compliance of Home Depot's enterprise systems and solutions.The cybersecurity team at Home Depot is committed to staying ahead of the threat landscape, and this role is integral to that mission. You will work closely with engineering, product, privacy, and legal teams to identify trends, resolve problems, and drive execution. Your expertise in technical control assessments, scope management, evidence collection, and remediation tracking will be essential in this position.
What You Will Do
- Perform data gathering, synthesis, and develop solutions to achieve results
- Collaborate with teams to identify trends and resolve problems
- Evaluate information and provide recommendations based on findings
- Conduct technical control assessments on enterprise systems and solutions
- Scope management and evidence collection for compliance assessments
- Develop and maintain documentation for audit and compliance purposes
- Partner with engineering, product, privacy, and legal teams to drive security and compliance
- Stay up-to-date with emerging threats and technologies to inform security and compliance decisions
- Develop and implement security and compliance training for internal stakeholders
- Support audit readiness activities, including sample-based testing and evidence availability
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Hands-on technical evidence experience, including collecting, interpreting, and validating technical evidence
- Experience working with regulated or compliance-driven environments, including support for frameworks or regulations like CPRA/CCPA, NIST, ISO, or similar standards
- Audit/compliance delivery exposure, including experience supporting audit readiness activities
- Technical communication skills, with the ability to work directly with engineers and system owners
- CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Nice to Have
- Experience with security test results and architecture diagrams
- Knowledge of security frameworks and regulations, including CPRA/CCPA, NIST, ISO, or similar standards
- Familiarity with security consulting and security operations
- Experience working in a large, complex organization
- Certification in a related field, such as cybersecurity or information assurance
