About the Role

The Czech Quality Specialist position at Productive Playhouse is a unique opportunity to utilize your language skills to review transcriptions for quality, grammar, spelling, and accuracy. Day-to-day, you will be reviewing transcriptions, assigning tasks, and overseeing progress to keep projects on track. You will also be the go-to person for language-specific questions from the team and will escalate unresolved quality issues to the Regional Lead. What You Will Do

Review transcriptions for language quality, grammar, spelling, and accuracy to ensure they meet the highest standards.
Assign tasks and oversee progress to keep the project moving forward efficiently.
Be the first point of contact for reviewers who flag quality issues, following the QC workflow guide.
Answer language-specific questions from the team to ensure clarity and accuracy.
Escalate unresolved quality issues to the Regional Lead for further review and resolution.
Communicate clearly and promptly in English with the team and stakeholders.
Collaborate with the team to continuously improve language quality and project workflow.
Participate in training and professional development to enhance your skills and stay updated on best practices.
Utilize your expertise to contribute to the development of language quality guidelines and standards.

What We Are Looking For

Native or full proficiency in Czech (ISO:cs_cz).
Strong working proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Sharp grammar, orthography, and punctuation skills, with a proficiency test required.
Experience in linguistics, translation, transcription, or localization is strongly preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
Own computer, reliable internet, and strong web research skills.
Responsive communicator with consistent email access and the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to onboard within two weeks and start contributing to the team immediately.

Nice to Have

Experience with project management tools and software.
Knowledge of QC workflow guides and quality assurance processes.
Certification in translation, transcription, or a related field.
