About the Role

As a Data Analyst at Andela, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining the data infrastructure that powers the company's business intelligence and analytics capabilities. This role requires a unique blend of technical skills, business acumen, and collaboration. You will work closely with various stakeholders to understand their data needs, design and implement data solutions, and ensure that data is reliable, accessible, and structured to enable self-service analytics across the organization.

What You Will Do

Embed yourself in assigned business functions to deeply understand their priorities, challenges, and opportunities.
Proactively identify analytical opportunities before stakeholders ask, hunting for insights that drive action.
Design and lead experiments, A/B tests, and pilots with clear success metrics and measurement frameworks.
Deliver insights with clear recommendations and next steps, not just data summaries.
Build dashboards, reports, and analytical frameworks that enable ongoing business monitoring.
Conduct deep-dive analyses on business performance, customer behavior, and operational efficiency.
Develop forecasting and predictive models to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
Synthesize complex data into compelling narratives that drive stakeholder action.
Partner with business teams to design experiments that test new strategies, products, or processes.
Establish success metrics, tracking mechanisms, and analytical approaches for each initiative.
Analyze experiment results with statistical rigor and deliver clear go/no-go recommendations.
Build repeatable frameworks for ongoing analysis and improvement.

What We Are Looking For

3+ years of experience in a data analyst role, with a focus on building and maintaining data infrastructure and driving business intelligence.
Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
Proficiency in SQL and experience working with large datasets.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights effectively.
Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on innovation and growth.
