About the Role

The Data Analyst role at Haystack is a critical position that involves developing, enhancing, and maintaining Microsoft PowerBI reports and dashboards to support business decision-making. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with specialist departments, international subsidiaries, and corporate management to ensure data quality and consistency. What You Will Do

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Microsoft PowerBI reports and dashboards to support business decision-making
  • Further develop and optimize internal data models based on provided table structures in a central Data Warehouse
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across all reports and dashboards
  • Collaborate closely with specialist departments, international subsidiaries, and corporate management to identify business needs and develop solutions
  • Build high-performance data models using SQL and Microsoft PowerBI
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear, concise reports and presentations
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies in business intelligence
  • Stay current with new features and functionality in Microsoft PowerBI and other relevant tools

What We Are Looking For

  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI (data modeling, DAX)
  • SQL knowledge and experience in building high-performance data models
  • Analytical mindset and strong affinity for numbers and data
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach to coordinating parallel tasks
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
  • Professional experience in Business Intelligence, reporting, or data analysis
  • Education or degree in economics, IT, or a comparable field
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

  • Experience with other business intelligence tools, such as Tableau or QlikView
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and design principles
