Your expertise will be crucial in helping DoorDash optimize its in-store operations, improve customer experiences, and drive business growth.

The Data & Analytics team is the foundational data hub powering go-to-market, product, finance, and operational decisions across the In-Store business. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Product Marketing, and executive stakeholders, to design and maintain data pipelines, models, and infrastructure that connect SevenRooms' systems with the broader DoorDash data ecosystem.

What You Will Do

  • Own product analytics end-to-end, including funnels, adoption, retention, and ROI for every major feature launch on the SevenRooms platform
  • Build net new data products aimed at improving analytic and reporting capabilities
  • Partner with Product Managers and Product Marketers on pre-launch hypotheses, beta testing results, post-launch measurement, and ongoing optimization
  • Design and ship PLG automations that translate product behavior into opportunity tagging, expansion signals, and CSM workflows
  • Apply GenAI and ML techniques to product analytics use cases, such as web-sourced feature adoption opportunities, transactions predictive modeling, and Add-On ICP scoring
  • Communicate closely with multiple PMs, providing reporting and ad-hoc analysis to inform product decisions
  • Collaborate with the GTM Engineer to integrate data insights into product development
  • Develop and maintain documentation of data products, including data sources, methodology, and results
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and machine learning

What We Are Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience analyzing product data and partnering with Product Management teams in a SaaS environment
  • Expert SQL skills and proficiency with a cloud BI tool such as Looker, Tableau, or Mode
  • Hands-on experience with product instrumentation and analytics platforms such as Pendo, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or Heap
  • Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguous product questions into rigorous, scoped analyses that ship recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to product and executive audiences
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and engineering
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, or Google Data Studio
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components

Nice to Have

  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud

Benefits and Perks

  • Competitive base salary and equity grants
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) plan with employer matching
  • 16 weeks of paid parental leave
  • Wellness benefits, commuter benefits match, and paid time off
  • Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development, including training and education programs
  • Access to cutting-edge technologies and tools
  • Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a team of experienced professionals

How to Stand Out

  • Tip: Make sure to highlight your experience with data analytics tools and technologies, such as SQL, Looker, and Tableau, in your resume and cover letter.
  • To stand out, prepare examples of how you have applied data insights to drive business decisions and improve product development.
  • Be prepared to discuss your experience working with cross-functional teams and communicating complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • When negotiating salary, consider the company's overall compensation package, including equity grants and benefits, in addition to the base salary.
  • Be aware of the company's culture and values, and be prepared to discuss how you align with them.
