About the Role
The Data Analyst position at Stio is a key role within the company's Data & Analytics team. As a Data Analyst, you will work closely with the Director of Data & Analytics to develop and implement data-driven solutions that inform business decisions. This is a full-stack, horizontal role that spans data infrastructure, analysis, BI development, and stakeholder partnership.The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis, modeling, and visualization, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. You will be working with a range of stakeholders across the business, including Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, and Inventory Planning.

What You Will Do
- Partner with stakeholders to translate ambiguous questions into well-defined analyses, dashboards, and data products
- Build and maintain dbt models that turn raw source-system data into trustworthy, well-documented datasets
- Write tests and documentation that let both humans and AI agents downstream rely on the work
- Develop and maintain semantic context, dashboards, and reports that the rest of the business uses to operate day-to-day
- Own metric definitions and business semantics, driving alignment when stakeholders disagree on what a definition or number means
- Review and refine data products to ensure they meet business needs
- Collaborate with the Director of Data & Analytics to expand the analytics function and drive business growth
- Work with AI-assisted development tools to streamline data analysis and modeling
- Communicate complex data insights to stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
What We Are Looking For
- Strong foundation in data analysis, modeling, and visualization
- Experience with Google Analytics, Excel, and data modeling
- Proficiency in SQL and R, with ability to learn Python
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to break down complex problems into manageable parts
- Experience with data infrastructure, including data ingestion, transformation, and storage
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and methodologies
Nice to Have
- Experience with Snowflake, Fivetran, and Power BI
- Familiarity with GitHub and version control principles
- Knowledge of Bluesign approved textiles and sustainable supply chain practices
- Experience working in a remote team environment
