About the Role
The Data Analyst role at Stio is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the company's mission to enable access to the outdoors for all. As a key member of the Data & Analytics team, you will work closely with stakeholders across the business to translate complex questions into actionable insights. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include analyzing data, developing dashboards, and driving business decisions.The Data Analyst will be part of the Finance department and report to the Director of Data & Analytics. This is a remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere and contribute to a company that values flexibility and work-life balance.

What You Will Do
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to develop and implement data-driven solutions
- Develop and maintain dbt models to turn raw data into trustworthy datasets
- Write tests and documentation to ensure data quality and reliability
- Build and maintain semantic context, dashboards, and reports to support business operations
- Own metric definitions and business semantics, driving alignment across stakeholders
- Review and validate data output to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Collaborate with the Director of Data & Analytics to expand the analytics function
- Work with AI-assisted development tools to streamline data analysis and modeling
- Develop and maintain data products to support business decisions
- Communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
What We Are Looking For
- Strong technical skills in data analysis, including proficiency in Google Analytics, Excel, and Klaviyo
- Experience working with data infrastructure, including data ingestion, modeling, and transformation
- Ability to work with stakeholders to develop and implement data-driven solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to drive business progress
- Experience working with data visualization tools, such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong foundation in data modeling and database design
- Experience working with AI-assisted development tools
Nice to Have
- Experience working with Python, SQL, or R
- Familiarity with data engineering principles and practices
- Experience working with cloud-based data platforms, such as Snowflake or AWS
- Knowledge of data governance and compliance principles
- Experience working with agile development methodologies
