Job Description

About the Role

As a Functional Data Architect at GE Vernova, you will specialize in data and analytics for electric utilities, specifically using the GridOS Data Fabric.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discussions with business users and subject matter experts to gather data needs.
  • Define domain-driven data models aligned with electric utility processes.
  • Conduct workshops to define the foundation for the GridOS Data Fabric.
  • Act as a thought leader in understanding utilities' data and business processes.
  • Design functional architecture for the enterprise data fabric.
  • Collaborate with solution architects on integration architecture design.
  • Manage contributions from various SMEs to meet architecture requirements.
  • Define data service contracts across operational and analytical use cases.

Requirements

  • Experience with data architecture and analytics, especially in electric utilities.
  • Proficiency in data modeling and governance.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration with technical and business teams.
