About the Role

The Data Center Quality Assurance Inspectors at AECOM are responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet the required standards and specifications. This role involves working closely with contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to identify and address any non-conformities. As a key member of the quality assurance team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the high standards of AECOM's construction projects. What You Will Do

  • Inspect building systems, including mechanical and electrical, to ensure compliance with contract requirements and industry standards
  • Review contractor shop drawings and submittals to confirm alignment with project specifications
  • Monitor the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and mechanical systems to confirm proper functionality and performance
  • Identify and report non-conformances, coordinating with contractors and engineers to implement corrective actions
  • Maintain detailed inspection reports, logs, and records for quality control and compliance tracking
  • Oversee corrective actions for unacceptable construction work and support final inspections, punch lists, and project closeouts
  • Witness and document critical tests, such as pressure tests, leak tests, and system start-ups
  • Verify the quality of materials, workmanship, and equipment installations to confirm adherence to project specifications
  • Work closely with contractors, engineers, and other inspectors to resolve issues
  • Maintain professionalism in attire and communication during all time on site and in meetings
  • Represent the Client in alignment with contract requirements and project deliverables
  • Coordinate client Outage / Shutdown Procedure

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Minimum four years of relevant experience in construction and/or quality management
  • Strong knowledge of construction principles, practices, and techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to travel up to 90% of the time
  • CQM or other professional certifications (preferred)

Nice to Have

  • Seven years of experience in construction and/or quality management
  • Experience working on complex infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations
