About the Role

SpaceX is seeking a Data Center Specialist to help deploy and resolve hardware troubles for its Starlink satellite constellation.

Responsibilities

  • Augment, deploy, troubleshoot, and repair hardware at Starlink PoP colocation sites worldwide
  • Travel internationally and domestically to resolve hardware issues and deploy new hardware
  • Diagnose failures within fiber optic circuits and execute repairs
  • Install servers and upgrade/replace parts following standard procedures

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 2+ years of experience troubleshooting hardware or IT equipment in the IT or telecom industry

Nice to Have

  • Strong knowledge of standard computer skills: MS Office, Visio, and web applications
  • Meticulous attention to detail, standards, and documentation
