## What You Will Do - Lead the full lifecycle of data engineering projects, from initial requirement gathering to production deployment and monitoring - Design, develop, and maintain complex data transformations, ensuring high data quality and performance using scripting languages like Python, Airflow, DBT, and databases such as Snowflake - Build, scale, and maintain automated workflows using Apache Airflow to manage sophisticated data dependencies - Implement automated processes for data validation, ensuring high standards of data quality, accuracy, and integrity across all pipelines - Act as a technical partner to the Analytics, Sales, and Marketing teams, building curated datasets that drive strategic decision-making - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize data-driven projects, ensuring that data solutions align with business objectives - Develop and maintain technical documentation, including data models, data flows, and system architecture diagrams - Participate in code reviews, ensuring that all code meets high engineering standards and is properly tested - Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering, applying this knowledge to continuously improve the company's data capabilities
## What We Are Looking For - 5+ years of experience in design and development of complex automation frameworks, queries, data modeling in SQL, Python, DBT, and Apache Airflow - Deep experience working with sales pipelines, bookings, and quota attainment, including hands-on experience with sales data domains - Expertise in architecting scalable DBT projects using advanced modeling techniques, custom macros, complex Jinja-templated logic, and modular project structures - Advanced proficiency in the DBT lifecycle, including CI/CD processes such as Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD, and source control tools like GitHub - Experience identifying and solving issues concerning data management, improving data quality, and optimizing data for ingestion and consumption - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline - Experience working with cloud databases such as Snowflake, Redshift, or similar data lakes - Strong understanding of data governance, data security, and data compliance principles
## Nice to Have - Experience with sales automation tools such as Salesforce, People.ai, or Clari - Knowledge of CRM systems and experience integrating business data from enterprise applications into semantic layers - Familiarity with machine learning or artificial intelligence concepts and their application to data engineering - Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
