About the Role
The Data Protection Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and operating technical controls to safeguard sensitive data across the enterprise.Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of enterprise-wide data discovery and classification for unstructured and structured data.
- Implement safeguards for Generative AI platforms to prevent unintended data disclosure and misuse.
- Identify and mitigate data overexposure risks, including excessive permissions and sensitive data leakage.
- Support data lifecycle governance, including retention, archival, legal hold, and secure disposal.
Requirements
- Proficiency in tools like Adjust and Excel is essential.

- Experience in data protection, IT, or a related field is beneficial.
