About the Role

The Data Scientist role at Dropbox is a unique opportunity to partner with product, engineering, and design teams to answer key questions about how to grow revenue, optimize product, scale and monetize the business. What You Will Do

  • Develop and apply advanced data analytics techniques to drive business insights and inform strategic decisions

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data science and analytics
  • Develop and maintain datasets, data visualizations, and reports to support business decision making
  • Participate in the development of the company's data strategy and roadmap

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in data science or a related field
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field, such as computer science, statistics, or mathematics
  • Proficiency in programming languages, such as Python, R, or SQL
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and statistical analysis
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and techniques
