About the Role

Data science has become a cornerstone of modern business strategy, and Mindrift is at the forefront of this revolution. As a freelance AI trainer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing AI solutions for leading tech companies. Your day-to-day activities will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to identify business problems, develop AI models, and deploy them into production environments.

The role requires a deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data manipulation using SQL and Python. You will be working on a project basis, which means you will have the flexibility to choose your projects and set your own schedule, allowing for a high degree of autonomy and work-life balance.

What You Will Do

  • Design and develop AI models using machine learning algorithms and deep learning techniques
  • Work with large datasets to identify trends and patterns, and develop predictive models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy AI models into production environments
  • Develop and maintain databases and data systems to support AI model development
  • Conduct statistical analysis and data visualization to communicate insights to stakeholders
  • Develop and implement data pipelines to support AI model training and deployment
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and apply this knowledge to improve AI models
  • Collaborate with data engineers to design and implement data architectures to support AI systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation of AI models and systems

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning and AI
  • Expertise in Python programming for data science, including pandas, numpy, scipy, scikit-learn, and statsmodels
  • Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms
  • Experience with SQL and database operations for data manipulation and analysis
  • Portfolio of completed projects and publications showcasing real-world problem-solving
  • Strong written and verbal English skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with GenAI technologies, including LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and vector databases

Nice to Have

  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, such as AWS or Google Cloud
  • Knowledge of modern data engineering tools, such as Apache Beam or Apache Spark
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems, such as Git
