About the Role

The Data Specialist role at The Studio is a critical position that will own the company's data pipelines, analytics, and reporting end-to-end. As a key member of the team, you will design, build, and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reporting suites, ensuring data accuracy and reliability. What You Will Do

  • Manage and optimize end-to-end data pipelines and warehousing using Stitch and Google BigQuery
  • Design, build, and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reporting suites within Looker Studio
  • Coordinate with engineering to set up and validate Google Analytics tracking
  • Provide on-demand analysis and custom reporting for cross-functional teams
  • Execute rigorous validation protocols to ensure all reported data is 100% accurate and trustworthy
  • Build a system to proactively detect and report anomalies and issues in reporting or analytics
  • Work closely with engineering and business teams to identify and prioritize data needs
  • Develop and maintain documentation of data pipelines, warehouses, and reporting systems
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data analysis and reporting

What We Are Looking For

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in a Data Analyst or Data Specialist role
  • Proven experience managing data pipelines and warehouses (e.g., Stitch or similar ETL tools, Google BigQuery)
  • Strong working knowledge of Looker Studio, including building dashboards and writing DAX measures, calculated columns, and tables
  • Experience working with Google Analytics (GA4 preferred), including event tracking and data interpretation
  • Demonstrated ability to validate data, QA dashboards, and ensure reporting accuracy
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, spot anomalies, and translate data into actionable insights
  • Experience building custom dashboards and reports
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with other data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Knowledge of SQL and database management
