About the Role
The Data Verification Assistant role is a part-time, remote position that involves verifying information about hosts listed on booking and similar platforms. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy of data, which is essential for the success of TSMG's projects. As a Data Verification Assistant, you will be working closely with the project management team to identify and flag any inconsistencies or suspicious data.The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include conducting online research to verify claims made by hosts, maintaining and updating spreadsheets to track progress, and communicating with the project manager to report status updates. You will be working independently with minimal supervision, so a proactive mindset and strong attention to detail are essential.

What You Will Do
- Verify claims and data submitted by hosts using online research tools and calls
- Maintain and update spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel) to track verification progress
- Communicate regularly with the project manager to report status updates and flag issues
- Identify incomplete, inconsistent, or suspicious data and proactively bring it to the team's attention
- Conduct thorough research to ensure the accuracy of data
- Use online tools to verify information and claims
- Update and maintain internal records
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure the success of the project
- Work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks
- Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results
