The Data Verification Assistant position at TSMG is a unique opportunity to join a temporary project focused on verifying information about hosts listed on booking and similar platforms. This role involves a high level of attention to detail, as the successful candidate will be responsible for checking claims made by hosts through open online sources and maintaining internal records. The project's success relies on the accuracy and thoroughness of this verification process, making this role a critical component of the team.As a Data Verification Assistant, you will be working closely with the project management team to ensure that all information is accurate and up-to-date. This will involve regular communication to report status updates and flag any issues that arise during the verification process. Your ability to work independently with minimal supervision will be invaluable in this role, as you will be expected to manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines.
The temporary nature of this project means that the successful candidate will need to be flexible and adaptable, with the ability to hit the ground running from the outset. What You Will Do
- Verify claims and data submitted by hosts using online research tools and calls
- Maintain and update spreadsheets (Google Sheets or Excel) to track verification progress
- Communicate regularly with the project manager to report status updates and flag issues
- Identify incomplete, inconsistent, or suspicious data and proactively bring it to the team's attention
- Conduct thorough research using online sources to verify host information
- Update internal records with verified information
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Develop and implement effective data verification processes to improve project efficiency
- Analyze data to identify trends and patterns that may indicate inaccuracies or inconsistencies
- Provide recommendations to the project management team on how to improve data verification processes

- Good command of English (minimum Intermediate level)
- Current location in Ukraine
