About the Role
Supabase is seeking an experienced Database Support Engineer to join its Support Team. The successful candidate will help developers resolve complex issues, improve product quality, and enhance the overall developer experience on the Supabase platform.Responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve advanced customer issues across Postgres, Auth, and other services
- Provide consultative advice to optimize workloads and improve performance
- Reproduce bugs, propose workarounds, and escalate issues to engineering
- Communicate clearly with customers and mentor junior team members
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in technical support, backend engineering, or a similar field
- Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL and high-performance SQL
- Experience with cloud hosting providers like AWS and comfort with Linux environments
