Databricks Solutions Architect 2026- UK

About the Role

The role is part of a rapidly growing consultancy that specializes in enabling tangible business outcomes and ROI for organizations around the globe. As a Databricks Solutions Architect, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, from data owners and analytic users to C-level executives.

What You Will Do

• Engage in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex AI, engineering, and data analytics projects on the Databricks platform
• Serve as a Databricks subject matter expert for internal community of technical analytics consultants and as a company ambassador externally
• Provide technical leadership and hands-on delivery on projects in a consulting role
• Contribute to the growth of the partnership with Databricks in the UK as a technical leader
• Create and deliver engaging technical and thought leadership content on the latest Databricks features and best practices
• Build and deliver end-to-end technical tool demonstrations of Databricks functionality and interoperability for prospective clients and other enablement
• Support channel and sales activities to provide architecture advisory for prospective clients and projects
• Contribute to the development and deployment of Aimpoint products on the Databricks platform

What We Are Looking For

• Degree-educated in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
• Strong consulting experience (7+ years) with excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote, and customer-facing setting
• Passion for technology and a desire to grow and contribute to the Databricks community
• Deep familiarity with Databricks features, including AI, ML, engineering, and analytics features
• 7+ years of consulting experience required, with 7+ years of Databricks solution design, implementation, and engineering experience
• Either 5+ years of experience building data pipelines in Databricks using PySpark, Scala, and/or Spark SQL, or 5+ years of ML engineering or AI engineering experience

Nice to Have

• Expertise in software engineering or DevOps concepts and best practices
• Experience in Terraform, deploying, and configuring metastores and workspaces on any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Any Databricks certifications are highly regarded
