About the Role
The DBA Oracle role at Devoteam is a remote, full-time position that requires a high level of expertise in Oracle database administration. As a DBA Oracle, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Oracle RDBMS and related products. You will work closely with the development team to ensure high-performance database systems and provide support for database-related issues.The ideal candidate will have experience working with Oracle RDBMS, SQL, and database performance optimization. What You Will Do
- Install, configure, and update Oracle RDBMS and related products
- Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies
- Perform database tuning and optimization
- Resolve database-related issues and provide support
- Plan and implement database upgrades and patches
- Monitor database performance and provide recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure high-performance database systems
- Configure and maintain database security and access controls
- Develop and maintain documentation and standards for database administration
What We Are Looking For
- At least 3 years of experience in Oracle database administration
- Strong knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, SQL, and database performance optimization
- Experience with database backup and recovery tools, such as RMAN and Data Pump
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with database security and access controls
- Knowledge of Exadata and cloud-based database solutions
Nice to Have
- Experience with SQL Server and MySQL database administration
- Knowledge of database replication and high availability solutions
- Experience with cloud-based database services, such as AWS RDS
- Certification in Oracle database administration, such as OCP or OCM
