About the Role

The Deals Administrator plays a crucial role in providing superior customer service to myAbode's brokerage service clients, ensuring seamless real estate transactions. As part of a dynamic team, the successful candidate will be responsible for handling various types of deals, from buying and listing to leases and builder transactions. The role requires excellent analytical and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The Deals Administrator will be working closely with Branch Managers, Administrators, and Accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of real estate transactions. Strong communication skills are essential, as the role involves interacting with agents, lawyers, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be able to read and understand complex documents, such as Agreements of Purchase and Sale, and have experience with Adobe and Microsoft Outlook.

What You Will Do

  • Process real estate transactions, including buying, listing, leases, and builder deals, using Lonewolf software
  • Send commission invoices to lawyers and co-operating brokerages
  • Follow up with other brokerages and lawyers regarding commission cheques
  • Communicate with Branch Managers, Administrators, and Accounting regarding trades and agents' requests
  • Remind and follow up with agents about submitting paperwork, such as listing agreements, for deals processing
  • Respond to all agent emails on a timely basis
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management
  • Read and understand complex documents, such as Agreements of Purchase and Sale and Agency forms
  • Utilize Excel to analyze and organize data
  • Provide superior customer service to clients

What We Are Looking For

  • 3-5+ years of experience in the real estate industry
  • Experience using Adobe and Microsoft Outlook
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel
  • Excellent customer service and people skills
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Independent worker and team player
  • Ability to handle a busy, fast-paced office setting
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of FINTRAC ID and other relevant regulations
  • Certification in real estate or a related field
